2-Step (Multi-factor) Authentication Setup instructions for G-Suite

Instructions

To enable 2-Step authentication for your gmail account, please follow the instructions below visit the Google Article located at the link here:

1. Go to https://myaccount.google.com/ and login if you are not already logged in.

2. Go to the left side of the window and click on the security tab

3. Scroll down to Signing into Google and click on 2-Step Verification

4. Please click on Get Started and follow the prompts. You may be required to sign in again

5. Entire your phone number and continue the process

6. Enter the code you received on your device and hit next

7. Once confirmed, please confirm and select TURN ON

8. Once 2-Step Verification is turned on, you will be sent to the additional 2 step verification options. You can enable one of these forms of verification as an alternative as well and we would recommend you set up the Authenticator option.
