Regional Manager SENIORS FOR SENIORS

Manage day to day operations for 2 branches as well as southwestern Ontario.. Responsible for coordinators in both branches- monthly targets/sales. My current focus is the BD team to partner with Linh as well as community partners. I am solely responsible for building relationships and signing contracts for service agreements in my region. Provide leadership role to office staff as well as Spectrum foundation. Client family assessment and management of caregivers in region.

Supervisor of Volunteers and Event Coordinator Ian Anderson House-Residential Hospice August 2011 to October 2012 Volunteer Management

Responsible for interviewing and recruiting all new volunteers. Responsible for training volunteers and conducting all volunteer meetings. I am currently managing and working directly in the hospice with 60 volunteers on a weekly basis. Event Coordinator -Solely planned all fundraising, special events and assisted with third party events for hospice. -Facilitate (answering inbound calls; addressing inquiries relating to participant sign-up and fundraising; addressing general event inquiries. -Maintain relevant databases on Razors Edge software. -Facilitate responses from event website. -Responsible for meeting with corporate sponsors, fundraising and organizing event participants. -Facilitate mailings to participants based on communication plan (maintaining elements for communication vehicles (letters, envelopes, etc.) -Assist in development of communications material supporting various fundraising campaigns. -Assisted in the identification, design and implementation of new fundraising concepts and initiatives -Computer Knowledge-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Razors Edge software for nonprofit organizations.

Friendly Visiting, Special Steps, Alzheimers volunteer position ACCLAIM HEALTH/ internship mature student - Oakville, ON September 2010 to April 2011 September 2010 - April 2011 Responsibilities: Independent position working in the community - Friendly Visiting, Special Steps, Alzheimers/Dementia and Palliative Care Programs. Maintain clients, provide social support, transportation, shopping and resources to aid with activities of daily living/coping skills and help with access to community resources. I visited clients in their homes and also in retirement homes in Halton region. **Knowledge of CIMS software, accreditation process, client assessments, risk management, community resources and all documentation related to the agency. Responsibilities: My role included day-to-day operations, theory and practical presentations; OSAP loans/ sales targets on a yearly basis, operation of student Day Spa/sales; registration/recruitment of new students; managing the day spa operations; and managing students and staff members for day and night programs at the college. As Head Instructor, my duties included theory presentations that were 3-5 hours in length as well as hands on practical demonstrations of all aesthetic treatments on a daily basis. Student reports, grading and final evaluations of all students for release of Diplomas. I was also registered with the Ministry of Education.
