Job Summary: The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive support to the HR Business Support department in the execution of various human resource functions and programs. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of HR services and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations across the US and Canada. The HR Generalist will assist with the administration of HR policies, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and other HR-related activities, while also contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies and programs. Essential Duties: Support HR Administration Assist the HR Business Support department with the daily administration of HR services including recruitment, promotions, transfers, contract negotiations, and employee relations. Assist in developing and recommending improvements for HR workflow. Partner with the Legal department to collect requested information as needed. Assist HR Business Support department with duties as needed. Employee Relations Help resolve complex employee relations issues by conducting thorough investigations and providing recommendations for resolution. Monitor incoming tickets assigned by the HR Service Center and triage or resolve them as appropriate. Performance Management Provide guidance to field leadership on performance management, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions. Serve as HR Business Support backup when one of the HR Business Partners is unavailable. Workforce Planning and Development Collaborate with management to enhance work relationships, improve morale, and increase productivity and retention. Support workforce planning and identify training needs for business units. Pull employee relations analytics report in FreshService. Training and Development Assist in the creation, scheduling, and delivery of training sessions and leadership development. programs. Skills: Education and Certification: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration, or related field, preferred.
