Lifeguard is an emergency pendant/monitoring service offered alongside TheKey's care services in Canada. Below are the key details:

Device & Service
* The pendant is a wearable emergency device that connects to a 24/7 monitoring center
* When pressed, it connects the client directly to emergency services
* Includes fall detection capabilities (optional)
* Can be worn as a pendant or wristband

Pricing
* Monthly fee: $49.95 + tax
* One-time activation fee: $99 + tax
* Minimum 3-month commitment

Eligibility
* Available to all TheKey Canada clients as an add-on service
* Client must have a landline OR cellular connection in the home

Process
1. CSM discusses Lifeguard option during initial assessment or care review
2. Client signs Lifeguard service agreement
3. Device is shipped directly to client's home
4. TheKey care team assists with setup during next visit
5. Monthly billing added to client's regular TheKey invoice

Cancellation
* 30-day written notice required
* Device must be returned in working condition
* Final month prorated from cancellation date
