TheKey entered into a Preferred Partnership Agreement with Carescout in 2024 and it has quickly become our largest referral source as a company.  Carescout is owned by Genworth, therefore directly feeding us referrals from their client pool.  All Genworth policy holders are referred to a Carescout certified company, and TheKey has been certified with CareScout since the beginning.  Here's a quick breakdown:

CareScout provides care navigation, and rate-negotiation services for families and policyholders with long-term care insurance (mainly through Genworth). They help connect clients to vetted home care, assisted living, and nursing home providers.
* How they work with providers like TheKey:
If a client has long-term care insurance through Genworth, CareScout often acts as the middle layer between the insurance company and the care provider.
   * They negotiate discounted rates that participating providers agree to in advance.
   * In return, providers like TheKey get steady referrals from a large, pre-qualified client pool.
   * Carescout is the only insurance company that TheKey partners with
* What makes them strategic:
Because they manage such a large volume of Genworth policyholders, they are a major funnel for home care companies. If you're not CareScout-certified, you miss out on those referrals entirely.
