Dear Stephanie: This letter is to confirm your enhanced role with Home Care Assistance along with a revised compensation package including retention bonus. The term of this agreement will begin on February 10, 2020 and end February 10, 2022, You will be employed as Scheduling & Administrative Coordinator, devoting your best professional efforts, time and skill to the performance of the duties under your new job description. You will continue to report to the Operations Manager; however, you will now assume an administrative support role for the Director of Client Care and Business Development. Effective February 10, 2020, your annual base salary will be increased to $40,000. In addition, you will be paid a one-time retention bonus of $2,000, subject to the terms described below. If for any reason you resign from Home Care Assistance at any point before the end of the duration of this agreement, you will be obligated to return to Home Care Assistance within 60 days the full sum of the retention bonus paid to you. Furthermore, if you are terminated by Home Care Assistance for “just cause”, you will be obligated to return the retention bonus under the same conditions. If for any reason you disclose any or certain parts of this agreement to your co-workers, you will be obligated to return to Home Care Assistance within 60 days the full sum of the retention bonus paid to you.
