Dear Joey,

This letter is to confirm that on May 8, 2020, you will be paid a one-time retention bonus of $5000, subject to the terms described below.

The term of this agreement will begin on May 8, 2020 and terminate on your anniversary date, July 22, 2021.

If for any reason you resign from Home Care Assistance at any point before the end of the duration of this agreement, you will be obligated to return to Home Care Assistance within 60 days the full sum of the retention bonus paid to you. Furthermore, if you are terminated by Home Care Assistance for “just cause”, you will be obligated to return the retention bonus under the same conditions.

If for any reason you disclose any or certain parts of this agreement to your co-workers, you will be obligated to return to Home Care Assistance within 60 days the full sum of the retention bonus paid to you.

Your next performance review is scheduled for July 22, 2021.
