Rate Card FAQ’s

We are a couple wanting to join Whitlock. One of us is an avid and regular golfer who would play weekends or weekdays and the other would like to play only occasionally. What are our best options?

One Gold and one Spouse Premium or Spouse membership

The Gold membership costs $ 4,155 and the Spouse Premium and Spouse memberships cost $2,590 or $ 2,090 respectively. Both these spousal memberships have unlimited access and allow for 25 18-hole games per season. However, the Spouse Premium allows more flexibility giving 10 18-hole games and 30 9-hole games for spouses wishing to play mostly 9 hole rounds.

Any of those combinations also come with a $ 1,000 minimum food & beverage per couple.

One Gold and one twilight membership

The Gold membership costs $ 4,155 and the Twilight membership costs $ 2,400; both are unlimited play although the Twilight is valid only after 2:00 PM any day of the week (1:00 PM after Labor Day). Twilight members cannot play at reciprocal clubs.

This combination comes with a $ 1,000 minimum food & beverage per couple.

One Gold and one Mini membership

The Gold membership costs $ 4,155 and the Mini membership is a package of 20 18-hole games with unlimited access except weekends and holidays after 11:00 AM. The Mini membership costs $ 2,315. No reciprocals for Mini memberships.

This combination comes with a $ 1,000 minimum food & beverage per couple.

One Gold and one Trial 20 game membership

The Gold membership costs $ 4,155 and the Trial 20 game membership is $1,875, with unlimited access except weekends and holidays after 2:00 PM. Does not come with a locker. Perfect for a spouse who is uncertain about taking up golf. No reciprocals for Trial memberships.

This combination comes with a $ 1,000 minimum food & beverage per couple.

Note that under any of the above scenarios, the Gold membership can be substituted for an unlimited play Intermediate membership if the oldest spouse is 40 years of age or younger. The intermediate memberships cost $ 1,565 to $ 3,635, depending on age and have a lower minimum for food & beverage.

Please note that if one person only in a couple joins as a golfing or curling member, the other person benefits from a complimentary Social membership which entitles him/her to full access to the clubhouse facilities and social program, as well as access to the course to play a maximum of 5 games as a paying guest.

We are a couple, or I am a single parent with children – what are the golf membership options available to them?

Junior memberships for children 8- 18 years cost $ 660. There are some limitations in terms of times for course access and each child is enrolled in the Junior program which is a comprehensive instruction program consisting of 1.5-hour clinics every Tuesday and Thursday, extending from the end of June to end of August. Instruction is first rate, and your child will be under supervision by qualified instructors.

I am interested in joining Whitlock and am an avid golfer but will not play weekends due to family commitments or other interests. What are my options?

Other than a Gold membership, the best alternatives would be to get an Intermediate membership which is still unlimited play for $ 1,565 to $ 3,635 for a person 40 years of age or younger (see description above) or a Twilight membership for $ 2,400 which is unlimited play after 2:00 PM (1:00 PM after Labor Day).

Alternatively, you might consider a Mini or Trial membership at $ 2,315 and $ 1,875 respectively, but these are both limited to 20 18-hole rounds – see descriptions above.

What happens if I am in a membership category with a limited number of games and I have exhausted my allotted rounds before the end of the season?

In all cases once you have exhausted your allotment of rounds and you still wish to have access to the course, you may purchase another unlimited play membership category such as Gold, Spouse Gold, Intermediate (if 40 years of age or younger) or Twilight for the prices indicated and you will be charged for the difference between your original membership category and the one you have graduated to. You therefore pay only for the incremental difference to achieve the new membership category.

We do not allow limited play members who have exhausted their allotment of rounds to access the course as paying guests on a per round basis.
