Hi all!

Welcome to Audra & Bee's first Fun Fact Friday! These are intended to be
short, helpful tips to make your jobs (and lives) more efficient as a
Client Success Manager! Sometimes they will be new updates, and other times
good refreshers, but will always pertain to something critically important
to your role!

This week's FFF is all about *ADL and IADL Tasks!*

*Did you know....* If your tasks are showing a 0 next to the clock on your
client's care plan, *those tasks are NOT attached to any shifts*? This
means that not only will your caregivers not see the tasks when they are
clocking out, but they also will not generate any client care notes. These
notes are required for Long Term Care Insurance reimbursement, but also
feed into the daily care logs that clients look for in the Family Room App.
When tasks are not assigned to shifts, they will look like this:

Luckily for you, dear reader, attaching your tasks to shifts is *super
simple*! All you have to do is click on the clock on the right hand side,
and select which shifts the tasks should be assigned to. You can pick
select shifts for tasks that don't apply to every shift, or select "All" to
apply that task to every scheduled shift:

You want your task list to look something like this: the yellow highlighted
number indicates that your tasks are actively attached to shifts and
visible to caregivers. When attaching tasks to shifts, you can select which
days the tasks should be present for. For example, if your client only
receives a shower on Monday and Thursday, you can select those days
specifically to avoid redundant or unapplicable tasks. The blue highlighted
section is actually a free text box, where you can add specific
instructions for tasks unique to your clients!

Please make sure that you are reviewing your ADL and IADL tasks for all
clients, both new and existing. It is critical that we have active ADL and
IADL tasks assigned for all of our clients, to be sure that caregivers know
exactly what is expected of them during their shifts! As always, if you
have any questions about this process, please don't hesitate to reach out
to Audra or myself - your National Quality Team - and we will be happy to
grab time with you to go over the process! Tune in next week for another *Fun
Fact Friday!*
