I did speak with Kim at Cotter House to verify that information was accurate. I know we spoke about this a few weeks ago but it seems like now the relationship with Cotter House is damaged. I'm not sure if Jen just decided to take a step back to focus on other accounts, which is fine. If that is the case a conversation was not had with them and they now feel like we are not reliable or worth the fee that we charge. I have not spoken to Jen about this as I am not her direct supervisor. I did ask them to report directly to me if there is an issue and not Brooke as she is not over the Columbus office and it is not really appropriate for her to be receiving this information about Jen. Please let me know if there is anything else that you need from me. Thanks, Alysce ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Brooke Justiniano Date: Fri, May 9, 2025 at 6:11=E2=80=AFPM Subject: Community Partner Complaints To: Alysce Craig Alysce, Today while completing QA visits at The Cotter House- people have told me that my reputation is respected and solid in the community and to not let anyone at TheKey dim my light. When I said thank you- what brought that on? I was pulled to the side and a conversation was held with me in regards to the relationship between The Cotter House and TheKey. I was told that Jennifer Roenker has single handedly ruined the relationship that has been built over the last 8 years. When I heard this I asked why and I was told that she makes everything very uncomfortable for the team at the Cotter House. When asked for details these were the comments that were made to me by the Regional Director of Community Involvement and Marketing, Aleks Siano. - Jennifer continues to make empty ended commitments to the facility. In the past several weeks she has scheduled events that have not happened (ie: timeslips, marketing "projects", and staff appreciation events), she has committed to sponsoring a table at their annual Alzheimers fundraiser ( our top 4 competitors were present) and did not follow through. When I expressed my disappointment for us not being involved this person then explained to me that.... - Jennifer continues to let the Cotter House Team know if they need anything to let her know but there is no value-add for them to reach out to her. We are now not the preferred provider for the Cotter House as First LIght has become their prefered company due to First LIght calling offering a project to help the community and came through with their offer. They built trust and won them over. -At one of our Quality Care Meetings the team was presented with a list of concerns about care for each of our 4 residents and several prospects. The entire team from TheKey left the meeting with goals and tasks
