The Home Care Assistance Franchise continues to see record growth! Below are a few exciting updates and announcements that we would like to share. *2016 Home Care Assistance Conference.* The Home Care Assistance franchise team has been hard at work pulling together the final details for our Annual Conference. This year you can expect a new format for our conference, starting with a Registration Website . Please visit the site to register, read the agenda, book your accommodation and plan some fun excursions once the conference is over! All reservations and booking will be done through this website, don=E2=80=99t wait register now! *Caregiver of the Year Nominations.* At the conference we take time to honor those who are the heart of our company, our caregivers. We ask that each site nominate one caregiver to be considered for our *2016 Caregiver of The Year*. The nomination form is attached. We ask you to complete in its entirety. The winner will receive a free trip and one night hotel stay to the conference and will be honored at our first ever HCA Awards Dinner on Thursday evening. Please submit your nominations to Russell Gesher no later than Thursday, June 30th. *Franchise Advisory Council (FAC).* The FAC continues to meet and work toward a series of goals to improve HCAF overall operating systems. The FAC will be meeting the day prior to the conference to formalize the group=E2= =80=99s roles and responsibilities. The FAC members will also be presenting their progress over the past year on the first day of the conference. Remember to reach out to FAC members with any ideas, thoughts or comments about the franchise. Your FAC representatives are Lori Wengard (Columbus), Steve Darley (Canada), Amy Harris (Nebraska), Will Reid (Cincinnati), Jeff Schweikert (St. Louis) and Ted Holmgrem (Scottsdale). *Move for Minds.* Maria Shriver=E2=80=99s inaugural event, Move for Minds,= will *take place on Saturday, May 21st at Equinox Sports Clubs* in six metropolitan areas across the United States from 2-5pm: Boston, New York City, Washington DC, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Orange County. The event will bring people together to use their bodies and their minds to raise awareness and money to support research around women=E2=80=99s brain health= and Alzheimer=E2=80=99s disease. As a part of this one-of-a-kind event, attende= es will participate in a 45 minute yoga class, 45 minutes of all-levels cardiovascular fitness and guided meditation as well as explore a mind-powered marketplace featuring some of the biggest names in food, innovation, science, fitness and well-being. *We encourage you and your staff, caregivers, friend and family to attend if there is an event in or near
