"**CGI/Continental General Insurance LTC** - customer service rep advised that they are approximately 2 months behind on processing claims payments (from last week of December dates of service). Per representative, they *expect* to be caught up in a month. If you receive calls from clients about their LTC payments from this carrier this is likely the issue. As a result they also have **EXTREMELY** long hold times right now (up to 2 hrs.). So save yourself and clients the wait time if you are certain that the claims have been submitted. This lines up with their moving all claims to their corporate location in early January. It seems like this has also delayed the completion of initial eligibility reviews.
