I wanted to follow up on our conversation last week regarding my eligibility to any portion of my annual bonus. I did send a follow-up message but I also wanted to share my feelings in an email. I am hoping that HCA/The Key can re-evaluate my bonus eligibility given the contribution that I have made to the company and the years that I have been here. I started with HCA the day that Tim and his team opened their doors, worked on a contractual basis for a few years, and then became a permanent part of the team in 2013 - making my tenure just under 10 years! My responsibility for my role (and any role that I have held over my time here) and my integrity as a team member are extremely important to me. So much so that I decided to leave based on knowing in my heart that this was not the right role for me, rather than waiting it out until year end - thereby making me eligible for a bonus. I also felt it was important to give an extended notice to make sure I had the time to train and pass on as much knowledge as possible as I wanted to make the transition smooth. We have only worked together for a short amount of time, but I am also copying Timothy on this as he knows the full history that I have had with Home Care Assistance.
