They want to feel understood. - Ask what keeps them up at night! What's important to them: what do they want vs what do they need. - Ask if they have policies and procedures when working with a home care agency. - Ask what their preferred communication method is (text, email, phone) - Service Failures: Align on how you would proactively communicate and work together if/when a service failure happens (because it WILL happen!).
