I was preparing to download the pay file for Irin to calculate stat holiday pay for the Civic Holiday (Aug 1/22). When I went into Clearcare, I noticed that August 1 2022 is not set as a billable or payable holiday in the agency settings. There is however an old entry for August 2 2021. I looked a little online and it appears that the Civic Holiday is an optional one? I checked and in billing and payroll for 2021, both clients and caregivers were charged/paid the holiday rate for it. If that is the case, I am assuming we would do the same for 2022. If indeed we are to payout stat, can you have a look at the settings and set August 1 2022 as a holiday? Thank you so much!
