Good Morning, Hope all is well! The Payroll team is reminding that on Sunday, November 5th, Daylight Savings Time will occur at 2:00 am local time, and clocks will =E2=80=9Cfal= l back=E2=80=9D one hour. The ClearCare and Workday systems will automatically adjust to the change. WHAT TO EXPECT: (HOURLY) As a result of the time change, hourly U.S. and Canada team members and Caregivers who work an overnight shift on Saturday, November 4th that runs through Sunday, November 5th and ends after 2:00 am local time will work one hour more because the clocks are set to roll back one hour. Example: a shift that starts on November 4th at 8:00 pm and ends on November 5th at 8:00 am normally equals 12 hours, but will be calculated as= 13 hours because of the Daylight Savings change. Regular overtime rules will apply. WHAT TO EXPECT: (LIVE-IN) Daily shift (live-in) U.S. and Canada Caregivers and clients will be paid and billed their normal daily shift hours (14,15,16 hours, etc. depending on the applicable state's live-in pay rules). WHEN WILL CLOCKS CHANGE AGAIN? On March 10, 2024, clocks will =E2=80=9Cjump ahead=E2=80=9D one hour for Da= ylight Savings, and hourly U.S. and Canada team members and Caregivers will work one hour less because the clocks are set ahead one hour, beginning at 2:00 am local time. Example: a shift that starts on March 9th at 8:00 pm and ends on March 10th at 8:00 am normally equals 12 hours, but will be calculated as 11 hours bec= ause of Daylight Savings.
