We also welcomed the first residents to our newest r= etirement expansion at The Village of Glendale Crossing this fall, and we'r= e thrilled to have so many wonderful new team members there to add to our g= rowing family. With 18 Villages spread out across Ontario and more to come, we are a growi= ng family, indeed. We have people who work and live with us that come from = all corners of the globe and this holiday season, we reflect on the many be= autiful traditions we have come to know thanks to the wonderful diversity w= e enjoy in our Villages every day. We revelled in the light of Diwali celeb= rations in November and we look forward to Hannukah beginning in the early = part of December, leading towards Christmas and Kwanzaa. In whichever way our residents, families, team members and community partne= rs celebrate, we wish for every blessing of the season upon us all, and we = look forward to a beautiful New Year! Opportunities to Give this Holiday Season We wanted to share a reminder of additional ways to give back this season: * We have a campaign underway for Shady Pines Campground to help create= a space where no matter a person's ability, the wonderful outdoors is avai= lable to them. More information to come soon. * The Wilfred Schlegel Hope Fund is always a wonderful way to help supp= ort our Team Members. Thank you to Frida(one of our team members) for shari= ng her story about the impact of the Hope Fund here . All contributions to= the fund are matched by the Schlegel Family. Infection Control Practices As always, we ask your team members, entering our villages, to follow proto= cols; to use infection control practices such as hand washing, sanitizing. = Mask mandates are still in place in resident areas of our villages. Do not = enter our villages if you are experiencing any symptoms. There is an addit= ional virus in Ontario(RSV) that seems to be getting some attention this ye= ar. You can find information at this link https://www.ontario.ca/page/respi= ratory-syncytial-virus We must do all we can together to keep our residents and team members safe = and we appreciate you working with us on that. As always, thank you fo
