KPMG indicated they can do an alternate procedure to confirm the bank balance(s) as follows: Rather than sending confirmations to these particular banks, what we can do is hop on a call and have you share your screen with me and allow us to inspect you pulling the bank statements in the banking portals for December 2021 and January 2022, so we can validate the accuracy of the balances at year-end. We should do this for all bank accounts for which we still do not have contact info. I offered to fly to Winnipeg & Montreal, but Amanda has not yet agreed..... Are you available to hold a virtual call with our auditors and let them see you log in and pull the bank balances & statements from these bank accounts? If so, please let me know when it is best for you and I will coordinate with KPMG.
