Take some time to read through the below information and please reach out to Kathryn Zakskorn with any questions. *New Website* We first want to thank everyone for their feedback and input since the launch of the new website! We appreciate your patience as the development team worked through some technical difficulties right after the launch, but the site should be running smoothly now as the team continues to make final tweaks to ensure the user experience is optimal. Now that the main pages are complete, it's time to focus on your* local lan= ding pages*. The development team is currently working on a simple form to streamline the customization process and make it easy for all of our sites to add a local flavor to their pages (retail office picture, team photos and bios, local videos, etc.). The level to which you will be able to customize your page is much greater than before, creating a localized experience for the user that will resonate well with him/her. *We will be sharing the customization form with detailed instructions next week, so stay tuned!* *Live-In Care vs. Daily Care verbiage * You will notice on the new website and in some marketing collateral that we changed the phrase "Live-In Care" to "Daily Care". The decision was to soften the language around live-in care because laws vary state by state. In California, for example, where we have many locations (franchise and corporate), we cannot use language that implies the caregivers will remain on the premises during their non-working hours, or refer to live-in as 24/7 care since technically they're not working for all of those hours. For this reason, we made the minor verbiage change of "live-in" to "daily care" to protect ourselves even though we can still provide live-in care. Again, we have not changed the content around what that term means, just the term itself. Offices are encouraged to keep the live-in verbiage on their microsites if this term is still used in your markets. *Not All Home Care is Alike Video* We are excited to unveil our new "Not All Home Care is Alike" video that talks about who we are, what we do and what makes us different than any other home care company around! We encourage you to share the video on social media, link to it in your email signature and pass it on to prospects and referral sources as a means to educate them about the superior services we provide at Home Care Assistance. *You can watch the video HERE *. *NEW Marketing Items* We have added several new pieces to our marketing arsenal that we wanted to share! =E2=80=A2 New Advertisement (1/2-full page) highlighting Best of Home Care Provider and Employer of Choice recognitions.
