In reviewing your responses to the survey that we sent out after the conference, the majority of franchise owners identified several key areas over the next year that they want to focus on for growth: 1) Developing 2- 3 Tier A referral sources 2) Implementing CTM and the Mindfit Series 3) Developing a stronger caregiver pool 4) Tracking metrics more diligently The key to reaching these goals is to focus your attention on the above areas that will drive revenues and not be pulled off course by non-revenue producing activities. An article in the Harvard Business Review noted the most successful business owners are those that are =E2=80=9Cfocused=E2=80=9D. With this in = mind, take time at least once per week to reflect on your business, your staff, your caregivers and your customers. Doing so will afford you insight into your business that you may otherwise miss. Set aside time every morning to jot down what you want to accomplish that day and review that list again every night. Staying focused on the tasks that are important, will drive growth and ensure success. *SLACK* At the conference, the FAC committee introduced SLACK, a communication platform that allows owners to ask/answer questions. We have seen great ideas and items shared across the network and encourage you to join the conversation. Our new Vermont owners, Tom and Stacy Lee, have utilized SLACK to inquire about several start-up questions and have received generous responses from several seasoned franchisees.
