Hi Cathy and Jim, Harry is back at the Kensington. I brought him the fan and Nelly is setting i= t up. He is very tired, his mobility is greatly reduced and he is short of b= reath on minimal exertion. As well, he is very disoriented and confused, he h= as an appointment with geriatrics at the Glen to be evaluated for dementia. T= he doctor told Nelly that the disorientated and confusion may not go away. I have advised all the caregivers of these changes, they will be mobilizing h= im sitting on his walker and we will assess his strength in the next few day= s as well. I've also asked the caregivers to continuously re-orient him and t= o calm him down when he becomes fearful and confused. Jim, have a safe flight and see you on Friday.=20 Thank you, Maria Maria Licoudis, Registered Nurse, C.N.C.C, N.M.C Care Manager Home Care Assistance mlicoudis@homecareassistance.com www.homecareassitancemontreal.ca Office: 514-907-5065=
