I wanted to reach out to tell you about a new project with which I am involved. I'm hoping to get your support. TELUS has funds available for a web series related to caregiving. I have hosted one of these series before (second season), Caring for Those Who Care, and been a writer on several other of their web series. I've teamed up with Black Box Productions to try to get funding for a series based on my book, Plan for Aging Well. I was wondering if you would like to be a part of this project? Right now, we are working on pitching for finances for a pilot episode, The Aging Soul. The description of the full series and pilot episode is attached. *Perhaps you know of caregivers/seniors who would want to participate in this?* Please think of clients, friends and families who you think might be interested in sharing their story in order to help other Canadians improve the way in which we support older adults and their caregivers. Maybe you have suggestions of other organizations/professionals who I should reach out to? You and your team also have extensive professional experience that we want to tap into as well. I was hoping to get a letter of support from Home Care Assistance confirming you will support our project and be available for consultation related to the needs of seniors and their caregivers, specifically the spiritual and emotional needs, and related to the home care support systems. Possibly, you could even provide expert commentary on the series. The deadline is in 7 days so if you could get off a letter of support I would appreciate it!
