Until very recently, cheques were having to be passed into many hands in order to get them cashed which has now been rectified. That said, this one cheque from July was seemingly received by Allison and mailed to the Oakville office with a number of other cheques. The process has been to have Allison take pictures of what she is mailing and to send those pictures to Sam so he can compare. Allison no longer has the photos from July and I was hoping maybe Sam had that email or copies of those photos. Pauli is going to check the Oakville office again tomorrow to make sure nothing is there but it would be unlikely as Allison would not have mailed a single cheque and everything else has been deposited. It would make sense for Allison, Pauli and Sam to all double check they don't have it before we ask for a stop payment. The last resort if we can't find it is to just own it. "There have been a lot of changes recently....we are so sorry..." A stop payment needs to be made and we will pay for that and reduce the amount by "x" percentage for your trouble. Can we all touch base tomorrow so we can learn if it has been found and decide on next steps.
