Take some time= to read through the below information and please reach out to Kathryn Zakskorn with any questions. *Aging in Place Magazine* We officially launched our *Aging in Place Magazine * this Monday through our newsletter and have been receiving a tremendous response from referral sources and consumers! We are in the process of working on a Canadian version of this publication and apologize we did not communicate this was our plan before we launched the magazine. Moving forward, this will not be an issue. The Marketing Department will be promoting this heavily through our social media brand channels and our blog, but let=E2=80=99s talk about ways in whi= ch you can use this locally to marketing to referral sources and prospects. - *Send an email blast* to your referral sources, prospects and client announcing the magazine and sharing the link to electronic version . Attached i= s a template that you can customize for your location. - *Share the electronic version *of the magazine on social media channels. - *Order hard copies of the magazine on XYZ *and leave them at senior centers, community centers, doctor=E2=80=99s offices, churches, senior c= ommunities, gyms, etc. Leaving copies with referral sources that you work closely wi= th like Aging Life Care Professionals, Trusted Advisors, etc. is also a nic= e touch point; they can then give the magazine to their clients. Given the educational nature of the publication, prospects and current clients wil= l also appreciate this piece. Place the magazines in a plastic brochure holder and display prominently in your window so that those walking by c= an easily see it. Placing marketing materials and books in the storefront window has proven to be a very effective strategy in drawing people into the office. - *Add =E2=80=9CRead our Aging in Place Magazine=E2=80=9D to your signat= ure *and hyperlink to the electronic version. *CEU Webinar on Conscious Aging* The CEU webinar on Conscious Aging featuring *Cassandra Vieten, Ph.D., President and CEO of the Institute of Noetic Sciences*, was fantastic and received extremely high accolades from attendees. For those of you who missed it, you can watch it here . It is also available on the Webinar section under Healthy Longevity Webinars and publicly available on the Webinar Series section of our website. We highly recommend having you staff and caregivers watch this webinar as there are excellent tips for working with older adults and shifting a negative mindset around aging to a positive one. Dr. Vieten shares real life examples of what seniors often say as they age and offers ways to be an empathetic listener and reframe their fears into something more uplifting.
