This will be a challenging ask.... I am not sure I could have created a more challenging scenario. The request is for a total of 8 Aides, working 7a-7p, and 7p-7a in a 4 days on, 3 days off rotation. Historically for the past several years, she has been flown up to Nova Scotia on a private jet and private duty RN's from "Nurse Next door" in Halifax have been contracted, including the use of a chair van. They have rented a mobile home and/or condo on the 2000 acre property to house the CCA working with her. I believe they have worked with Home Instead for those aides in the past, however I got the impression they were looking for an alternative. The background is that the client had a CVA and therefore requires MAX assist for transfers. of 1-2 people, has multiple cats that travel with her. I will have Donna send along the current care plan if this is something you are able to entertain.
