I am working with Ceridian to get the payroll account set up for the Mavencare Toronto caregivers (office staff is next). There are, however, some questions that I need help with (see sections in yellow). Can anyone provide insight on the ones that are flagged? Thank you, team! Sandra 1. The Business and Delivery address is: 355 Eglinton Ave West, Toronto, ON M5N1A3 - Good - this is the TO HCA office address. 2. Do you have employees in other provinces than Ontario? 3. The payroll frequency is Bi-Weekly (26 pay periods per year) - YES 4. Confirm your CRA # and the remittance frequency is Monthly. - Timothy/Gary do we have this from HCA TO? 5. The first pay date is on Mar 25, submission date will be on Mar 22 and the pay period ending date is on Mar 20. - YES 6. Have you paid the employees since the beginning of this year until now, before starting payroll with Ceridian? If yes, I will email you the year-to-date (YTD) grid that you need to complete and email to me 3 days prior to your first payroll submission and that will be used for T4 purposes at year end. - This does not apply as the caregivers (and office staff) will start fresh with us as of March 14th. They will get T= 4s from Mavencare from Jan to Mar 13th 2022. 7. Also, please advise if you have already made remittances for those payrolls. - No since this is a new payroll. 8. Will your annual gross payroll plus taxable benefits exceed $1M? If yes, please register your company with the Ministry of finance in Ontari= o for employer health tax (EHT) And provide the EHT exemption amount, EHT number and EHT rate. Tim/Gary? 9. Would you like to add an alternate contact person for payroll? If yes, please provide the full name, email address and contact number for that person. - Yes I will be adding Irin here since she runs caregiver payroll. 10. Would you like to have the employees=E2=80=99 pay stubs and your pay= roll reports online or would you prefer to have them delivered to you by courier? - Online 11.
