He is quite independent but his family worries about him being home alone all the time. Cooking and companionship are priority. Contact is daughter Lynda. MRS Ferstman Mrs Ferstman lives alone around the corner from the office. She is very resistant to care and does not feel she needs anyone with her. Family has been insistent on keeping Abigail 3x a week and are ok paying if the client kicks her out. Generally no replacement needed. Contact is daughter Tina. MR COUVRETTE* Mr Couvrette has care while his wife goes out to do activities. They rarely want a replacement and there is a FLAG. Generally they will cancel a shift instead of taking a replacement. Contact is his wife Louise. MR Gaglietta Mr Gaglietta is undergoing cancer treatments which make him very weak and he has been prone to falls when alone. His daughter works 2x a week which are the days that they have care from us. Daughter Amelia is main contact. MRS GEERTSEN Mrs Geertsen is quite autonomous but likes when Martina comes for the companionship aspect. They have similar cultural background and enjoy being together. Shift generally ends early. Client is Main contact. MRS LACOSTE* Mrs Lacoste has been having minimum hours for the past few months. Initially care began because her husband was hospitalized and she needed extra support but once he passed away she continued care. She loves Marie Anne and they have an incredible bond. Hours are pretty fixed since she has an activity on Monday (she teaches art courses). Mrs Lacoste is very independent otherwise but due to overall weakness requires assistance in the morning. She is cognitively well and directs her own care. She often goes on outings with Marie Anne (to get groceries and to the mall) so any replacement would need to have a car. Client is main contact. MR MCBURNEY Mr McBurney lives with his wife Peggy. She has been feeling burnt out by his care. She likes to go to activities in her apartment building during the week but he cannot be left alone during this time as he wanders. Care is scheduled for specific activities that Peggy likes to go to. Peggy or her daughter Pamela are the main contacts. MR MONETTE* Minimum hours. He is doing well at the Waldorf despite it being a mostly english facility. He can occasionally have some behavioral issues due to his dementia. He is quite mobile but experiences severe sundowning that can occasionally result in him getting more aggressive, taking his clothes often and wandering. Normally I email his son Jean Francois or call him if it is urgent. MRS NEIMAN Mrs Neiman is at Bayview and has a very specific routine. If ever there is a new caregiver her daughter Ann will talk to them before and give them an intro. It is important that the caregiver has a good positive demeanor. She goes to bed really early around 7pm. Email or Call daughter Ann. MRS POLLOCK She is experiencing a declin
