I am sending this to address the 2 mistakes that were found in the Canadian January results =E2=80=93 the worker comp e= xpense accrual and the payroll accrual missed in 2023. I am sorry these were not caught by accounting. Two steps are being taken by my team: 1. We are booking correcting entries this week to accrue these expenses in 2023 and remove them from January 2024. 2. We are currently evaluating all of the accounting work for Canada and plan to put like work together on the accounting team to ensure best practices are being consistently followed for TheKey as a whole. An example of this is that we will be moving the recording of Canadian payr= oll to the person who records the payroll for the US. I know FP&A is the team that you work with to explain your results.
