We are seeing a gap in the recruitment process in Montreal that in turn affects everyone in the office. Once the Caregiver is hired, their profile often remains empty (documents, contract etc...) until they are put to work. At that point, we are rushing to get everything for the pay period. This also means that we are putting people to work without a background check as well as without a complete profile, at times the only thing in their profile is their interview sheet (no ID, no SIN etc...). This past pay period there were several Caregivers put to work who were not back checked. This does not sit well with me. I am open for a conversation if you need more information as I see this as a big issue if corporate starts digging into the profiles as well as it being very risky from a legal standpoint.
