Hi Germaine
We are looking at recruiting in the area and also using caregivers
already employed in Vancouver. We are looking at bussing people to
locations and overnight lodging as a way of ensuring they are safe as the
weather makes commuting impossible at times. Squamish is about 1 hour from
our West Van office, Whistler 2 hours and Pemberton 2.5 hours.
This contract is for Vancouver Coastal Health, which has 24/7 clients
occupying hospital beds that they want to discharge. I am waiting on
numbers from VCH that would tell me how many caregivers I might
actually need.
