I was assured by Tim Thomas from Home Care Assistance that these certifications do not exist in Quebec and that a PAB (Nursing Assistant Program ) was the same or superior to a Personal Support Worker or a Health= Care Aide. Your disqualification based on this distinction is disingenuous based on any minor discrepancies between the two services. Keep in mind tha= t I could of always used a nurse to provide the services but tried to be cost= effective. Be sure that this will be escalated to a legal proceeding (Small Claims) where you will be investing more time and effort than the money you currently owe on claim you are likely to lose.
