This means she is claiming no personal tax exemptions. This is usually what happens if caregivers are working another job, or have already claimed that amount for the year. This would make her deductions higher than you would otherwise expect. If she has done this in error, have her fill out new forms (ideally the 2022 forms) and we can make adjustments to her payroll. She will have to wait until tax time to claim back the previous amounts. If she had claimed her full amount, and we were her only job, her deductions would be much lower. If she claims the full amount, and has another job which combined with ours exceeds the deductions, she will end up with a tax bill from the government in the spring.
