However, because it is a special circumstance, we will bill the hours at $25/hr to cover the cost of the caregivers only. Once your mother returns home, the rate will be as it normally is. We can still take it day by day until we know when she will be coming out, and the charge will remain at 25/hr for services not rendered during her hospital stay and caregiver standby. We do have a 72 hour cancellation policy, but since we dont know when she will be discharged or how long she will be staying, we are making an exception and only charging the 25/hr to cover the caregiver cost of being on call.
