I want to summarize my take-aways to make sure I listened as well as talked. =C2=B7 I am emailing Brad Dean to request his help in getting a new position available for me to create a job requisition for a third Caregiver Manager. =C2=B7 We will change our minimums from 12 hours a week to 20 hour= s a week with a one-month commitment. =C2=B7 Short term intent(tier 4) continues with a $5000 Care Commit= ment =E2=80=93 exceptions are hospital to home or hospice. =C2=B7 Hospice and hospital to home =E2=80=93 institute one-week 24= /7 minimum($6720) of client services and offer 36-hour or 48-hour ($3360) pay commitment to the caregivers in the event the client passes or recovers sooner than expected. Calculated the caregiver=E2=80=99s pay commitment as = a week=E2=80=99s pay. Four caregivers paid for hours offered their first week, two x 48 hours and 2 x 36 hours at $20/hr. =C2=B7 Keep Caregiver Manager in the regional on-call rotation unti= l the region moves to the local office model to avoid adding too much strain to Michelle. =C2=B7 Potentially ending CSM and CGM participation in the regional on-call rotation sooner than the region moves to a local office model. =C2=B7 Chad is going to introduce me to a GM on the East Coast who = has been successful with stacked staffing, as we are trying to provide this service at The Vi.
