I noticed an unopened email that I did not see earlier. I called Junes daughter and her daughter=E2=80=99s husband back at 6:08PST/8:08CT. I had apologized for the= delay in a response. June=E2=80=99s daughter expressed concern that the clients s= ecurity guard at the gate had phoned her to let her know caregiver on shift Sabrina had smelled strongly of marijuana. I informed them I was going to disconnect the call and get ahold of the caregiver. I spent the next 30 minutes attempting to contact Sabrina. I was unable to connect with her within that time frame. I called Junes daughter back at 6:43PST/8:43PST informing her that I was still unable to get ahold of Sabrina. They expressed that they were frustrated with her not responding, I acknowledged their frustration and informed them that she may be bathing or getting June ready for bed or away from her phone due to her being on shift. I received a text back at 6:46PST/8:46CT She said her and June were walking around the facility and she hadn=E2=80=99t Brought her phone with her. Concerns from family were given to Sabrina. She acknowledged that she may have smelt this way due to being around others/someone using her car. We went over policies and procedures of making sure she comes to work acceptable to TheKey standards, and that marijuana use before/during your scheduled shift is not acceptable, and to please be conscious of any smells that may come from non employees. Sabrina understood. At no point in our conversation was her speech slurred or slowed down. She was able to hold the conversation well. I called junes daughter back at 7:37PST/9:37CT (the delay came from speaking with other caregivers regarding shifts in other states) when I called them back I went over the conversation I had with Sabrina. At no point did they ask me to re staff the shift, or to speak with a manager, nor did they have any additional concerns before the phone call ended --00000000000013d57e062f1174b7 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Please see Julianna=E2=80=99s response regarding communic= ation with June Diebels family and caregiver.=C2=A0 Abby Cnossen Manager of Quality and Service Call or text: 616-271-8243 TheKey.com ---------- Forwarded message ---= ------ From: Julianna Br= own < j= ubrown@thekey.com > Date: Wed, Feb 26, 2025 at 3:25=E2=80= =AFPM Subject: June Diebel To: acnossen@the
