Hi Tim,

Jul 12 – Aug 31 – 159 Calls in Vancouver (all sources).
Sept 1 – Oct 20 – 206 Phone Calls (all sources).

We’ve seen an increase if you compare similar date ranges. Further to that, we started using call ads again after running some tests in each market. It has been proven they perform well, we have them count as conversion after passing 2 minutes duration, so the optimization are working.

Time lengths (duration) from that time are anywhere from 36+ mins or less. The number of calls over 3 mins (Sept 1 – Oct 20) was 93 (206 total). Compared to the previous period, we had 75.

138 calls out of 159 were from Google Ads (July/August).
174 calls out of 206 were from Google Ads (Sept/Oct)

We’re always looking to improve our campaigns. Was the call system changed? Are people still able to call and talk to someone directly? When you mentioned “quality” is it just wrong information being asked for? A lot of the search terms look like quality callers. Exact and phrase matches are showing up more (usually meaning a lot higher value).

The market in Vancouver could always support more budget. Although our ads are performing well, the recommendation from Google is to double (actually more than double) spend on search. I don’t agree with Google necessarily, but you can see where we’re at with daily spend at $190/day.

Google shows 306 conversions from ads (calls, emails, leads).
