The context is that we seem to be getting a lot of traffic from masked IP addresses that all submit forms or make calls saying they are looking for work and heard about us on Facebook (even though they came through the paid ads). Because they have masked IP addresses, our current targeting/exclusion settings are not excluding them. I just spoke to my Google rep and she recommends putting in a support ticket to have them launch an investigation to see if we can get this traffic labeled as invalid. She said it is unlikely Google will be able to refund us but at least they may be able to help us mitigate the effects in the future. I will connect with our agency to kick this off. Then we can connect on Monday to see if there's anything else we can pursue around this= .
