Hope everyone is doing well in the family. I have been working closely behind the scenes with Google, HCA corp, spoke with Janine as well on this. the short answer is yes and no and it depends. We first noticed some throttle on ads on the hca corporate campaigns. upon digging deeper, we couldn't find any logical reason why some of the ads were not rendering. So we ended up speaking with google and based on extensive conversations, they said it's against their policy to use any covid-19 related verbiage on a landing page/website to avoid exploitation. Upon several conversations, i had them do a manual review of the pages and they said that the content is not misleading but recommended we still remove it if we want to avoid any complications. Google is always ambiguous. They just don't want to get in any PR trouble with crisis situations. In the end, we determined that it's okay to leave the web pages, however, we have not added any keywords to the google ads campaigns related to the pandemic as we know that's against their policies. Even though some franchisees have asked us to do so but we have resisted. This happened back in the 2006-2007 recession as well with certain industries. Suffice to say, i had sent out an email a few weeks ago let everyone know that we are keeping a close eye on the situation and will report on a plan of action as the dust settles. I will be writing an email shortly to the network. I will cc you. Stay safe, please!!!! I hear Florida is starting to reopen. I am praying that things will not get worse with the pandmic. I think it's a tough situation for many people.
