This is further to our conversation about Mildred having shrunk the chair cover from a matched set. When she took over from Mary Cress, it appears that she did not have clear instructions as to what washing the chair covers meant. There are two chair covers that are pink and blue. Unfortunately, Mildred took the zippered yellow-toned slipcover off the occasional chair in Mom's apartment as well and put that in the washer and dryer. It is an upholstered cover. Ther casual, washable covers are spread over the furniture and not zippered. As discussed, I am willing to cover some of the cost but, especially given this is not the first occurrence of the wash being done incorrectly with damage, I will advise you as to the cost of remaking the covers.
