She is Jamaican and care began with June who has the same cultural background. Mostly companionship and someone to eat/watch TV with, go for walks, do groceries together. MITCHELL Mr Mitchell had a stroke almosts 10 years ago while on vacation with his ex-wife. He was not treated quick enough and is now wheelchair bound with left sided weakness. He manages almost all ADLs independently but has care for housekeeping, meal prep, errands and cleaning his cats liter. He is in his late 60s and is a very kind active man. He keeps very busy during the week and some of his caregivers are there when he is at an activity. He also gets 20 hours cheque emploi a week. His social worker is easily reachable. Main Contact: Daughter Shannon, usually emails MRS PARRIS Mr Parris is currently in palliative care and care is for Mrs who has alzheimers and needs increased stimulation. She is extremely sharp and continues to stay active by working. We have very limited involvement with this file as the client generally refuses a visit or any sort of supervision.
