She worked for DuPont and spent most of her 16-year career in biofuels research and development, primarily as part of a team developing a process to convert agricultural waste to fuel ethanol. Julie's passion in her free time, outside of family and friends, is travel, her most recent adventure being a 3-week trip to Turkey.
