He has 2 brothers, 1 lives in Athens and 1 in Montreal. As a young 16-year-old he worked on boats until he arrived in Montreal at 23 on the =E2=80=9CMerchant Marine=E2= =80=9D boat. He met his first wife in Montreal and had 3 children with her 1)Anthony (Montreal) who has 1 daughter 2)Kathy (Chicago) who has 2 kids 3)Helen (Chicago) who has 2 kids His wife passed away many years ago and he got remarried to Despinia over 15 years ago. She has children of her own and the 2 families merged and became very close. His wife speaks French and Greek, very little English. He began working as a cook and owned many restaurants over the years in different parts of the city. At one point he had a deli in Old Montreal where all the businesses once were. He eventually opened up a high end catering company. The couple have many friends and enjoy going out for dinner with them. He also goes to church with his friends and is part of the choir. Around the age of 75 he became worried about his memory and has been followed by the Geriatric Clinic ever since. He is in relatively good health. He is well put together and well groomed although he does not like to shower at times and puts up a fight. He had a Hernia surgery in the summer but recovered very quickly and impressively.
