As you are aware we are participating in the Move For Minds events all over the country and are raising money prior to the events in the help to fight Alzheimer's. We have a little friendly competition going on between a few members at Corporate and the entire Franchise Community (Team Barbara). If you feel like giving please do so by clicking on Team Barbara below. Any and all donations are welcome and encouraged. Thank you all in advance! James ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Megan Heinen Date: Tue, May 1, 2018 at 11:35 AM Subject: Move for Minds is in ONE MONTH! To: company@homecareassistance.com Hello Changers of the Way the World Ages!! I am writing to you all to notify you that the annual Move for Minds events, which raises money and awareness for the Women's Alzheimer's Movement led by Maria Shriver, are beginning in exactly ONE MONTH! This means that we all have less than one month to create a team to fundraise and attend the events OR donate directly to one of the teams we created. Since the first Move for Minds event is in NYC on June 2nd, this will be the official deadline for us deciding the winning HCA region! The current standing is below. Team Lily is still in the lead but Team Barbara is in a very close second! Team Lily - Bay Area and Pacific NW Corporate Offices June 10th, San Francisco Funds Raised: *$2442* Team Barbara - Franchise Offices June 3rd, Boston Funds Raise:* $2310* Team Chen - East Coast Corporate Offices June 2nd, New York City Funds Raised: *$1033* Team Ashley - Central Cal and SoCal Corporate Offices June 9th, Los Angeles Funds Raised: *$325* *This totals over $6000 raised for the cause! AMAZING! Let's keep it up!* Remember, if you do not live near one of the events or cannot attend but want to help, you can donate directly. Also, if you do want to attend the event, you will have to create your own fundraising page that is a sub-page of one of the teams above. I have attached instructions to this email on how to create your own personal page or simply donate (WAM Announcement Word Doc). You can also help by promoting the event, our partnership with the Women's Alzheimer's Movement and our Caregiver Recharge Grants amongst your network. I designed an editable flyer, attached, that can be populated with your local information and shared as a PDF or printed. I have also re-attached the social media toolkit I previously shared if you want to spread the good word on social media about our quarterly Caregiver Recharge Grants. As always, please let me know if you have any questions and let's keep up the momentum we've started!
