We have a situation where a caregiver fell in the parking lot of a retirement home and we have to submit a claim. @Timothy Thomas I had questions about this as she was arriving to work but fell in a parking lot that was not salted properly. Does the building not have to take some responsibility for this? Is WSIB the correct avenue here? I mean she wouldn;t have been there had she not have been working but also I feel there is more to this particular case. The caregiver is also unwilling to fill out an incident report for us as she already filled one out at the retirement home making it difficult to submit to WSIB. Any thoughts would be helpful.
