Both ClearCare and Workday systems will automatically adjust to reflect the change. What to Expect for Hourly Employees - Hourly U.S. and Canada team members and caregivers working overnight shifts (Saturday, November 2nd into Sunday, November 3rd) will work one hour longer due to the time change. - Example: A shift starting at 8:00 pm on November 2nd and ending at 8:00 am on November 3rd will be counted as 13 hours instead of 12. - Regular overtime rules will apply. What to Expect for Live-In Employees - Live-in caregivers and clients will be paid and billed for their regular daily shift hours (e.g., 14, 15, or 16 hours) according to state-specific pay rules. When Will Clocks Change Again? - The next adjustment will be March 9, 2025, when clocks will spring ahead by one hour at 2:00 am local time. - Hourly employees and caregivers working overnight shifts on that date will work one hour less. - Example: A shift starting at 8:00 pm on March 8th and ending at 8:00 am on March 9th will be counted as 11 hours instead of 12.
