Good afternoon, Hope all is well! The payroll team is reminding on behalf of our organization (HCA) that on Sunday, March 12th, Daylight Savings Time will occur at 12:00 am local time, and clocks will =E2=80=9Cjump ahead=E2=80=9D one hour. The ClearCare = system will automatically adjust to the change. *Sunday, March 12, 2023, 2:00:00 am clocks are turned forward 1 hour to Sunday, March 12, 2023, 3:00:00 am local daylight time instead.* *WHAT TO EXPECT: (HOURLY)* Hourly team members and Caregivers who work a Saturday to Sunday overnight shift on March 11th through March 12th that ends after 2:00 am will be paid one hour less, and clients will be billed one hour less because of the time change. *Example*: a shift that starts on March 11th at 8:00 pm and ends on March 12th at 8:00 am normally equals 12 hours but will reflect 11 hours because of Daylight Savings. Regular overtime rules will apply. *WHAT TO EXPECT: (LIVE-IN)* Daily shift (live-in) Caregivers and clients will be paid and billed their normal daily shift hours. depending on the state's live-in pay rules). *WHEN WILL CLOCKS CHANGE AGAIN?* On November 5, 2023, clocks will once again =E2=80=9Cfall back=E2=80=9D one= hour for Daylight Savings, and hourly Caregivers and clients will be paid and billed one extra hour.
