I haven't used them on competitor ads anymore because we were getting too many mistake calls. I want people to click through to your site and know they are on a different service before calling. That being said Google pushes them on us and will reduce your optimization score if you don;t have them (what else is new). Plus they look good on an ad to make your service look local with the 514 exchange. It's a hard one to answer.
