We are excited to give owners the opportunity to take a day away from the business to focus on the big picture and learn some valuable tools in the process. The training will take place at the Westin O'Hare on *Friday, April 7th*. We will host a cash bar for franchisees to get together and suggest dining options for Thursday evening. The attendance fee for this event will be $400 which will include all materials, continental breakfast and a hot lunch. The training will be split into two groups based upon phase of business. Franchisees in phases 1, 2 and 3 will attend Understanding Your Finances and Building a Successful Business Plan. Franchisees is phases 4 and 5 will attend Leadership and Expansion: Moving Beyond the Norm. Details of both sessions are outlined below. *Understanding Your Finances and Building a Successful Business Plan* - Understanding your finances hosted by Russell Gesher & Yarona Marks, VP of Finance for HCA - How to properly review and understand your P&L - How to properly review and understand your balance sheet - How to properly review and understand your cash flow statement - How to create a successful business plan - Workshop to begin the creation of your local business plan *Leadership and Expansion: Moving Beyond the Norm* - Explore opening additional locations hosted by Barbara Schuh & Yarona Marks, VP of Finance for HCA - Costs of expansion - Return on investment and additional value created - Work on your 3 and 5 year goals, working backward on a timeline so you can see all the key triggers that should happen for you to reach your goals - Work together as a group to look at possible roadblocks you may run into along the way and discuss how to overcome them or simply avoid them all together - Spend time doing some personal reflection on your role in the business to this point and what it looks like for you in the future - Spend time identifying who on your team can get you to the next level and who is at their peak An accurate attendee count is needed for the final meeting preparations. *Please reply to Russell with the name of attendees from your office no later than* *Tuesday, February 21st*.
