Unfortunately, I have a situation with my old employer and they have reported my professional conduct to the College of Nurses and Midwives here in BC. Back in October I had given my resignation to my formal employer as I was being bullied by my GM and could no longer work in that environment. In July I reported her to HR and the months after that the abuse continued. I filed a grievance with my union and reported to HR again but nothing changed and I was told that what I was expressing was nuances and I felt no other choice but to leave my position. After I gave my notice with was a Med error with Covid Vaccinations and my old employer reported me. I was asked to do a voluntary undertaking and I agreed to do so. I have listed The Key as one of my employers and gave your contact to the College. I don=E2=80=99t know if they will contact you as I do not hold a N= ursing position but I wanted to be honest with them about my employment. I have a lawyer working with me to respond to the college and a large amount of evidence to prove against the allegations. I have a letter drafted for you from my lawyer that I will attach. I know this is a weird email and apologize for it not being spoken in person but I would rather contact you now then have you caught off guard. I would very much still like the opportunity to do the on call with The Key and can assure that the allegations are not what represents me or my career as a Nurse. This has truly been one of the most difficult times in my life as I continue to work my way through this and heal. I have only found out about what the allegations were in the last week. Sharron was aware of the bullying but I haven=E2=80=99t spoke to her about this yet but I will do so= in the next coming days. I can assure you her recommendation about me are true. Again, I don=E2=80=99t know if they will contact you but I would like to be= honest.
