I actually thought this was a scam but now have found out it is real and it is going to scare alot of the clients and or families. The client I have spoken to has already spoken to a lawyer who has advised her how to respond which is basically the following; 1. They do not owe any money as they are not paying HCA for services they are paying The Key and all services as of February 3 have been invoiced from TheKey and paid to The key. 2. She will send the copy of the invoices and her payments so that they can see that. 3. She will call the agent that is listed as well as you just cannot not respond to the Government. I would suspect that all of our clients will be receiving this letter and thus I would like to get ahead of it and have our Canadian lawyer help them with this as I really feel this is on us and we need to ensure that we are helping in this matter. If anyone can give me the name of our Canadian lawyer I will reach out to him ASAP.
